Museums are my happy place. I love being surrounded by culture, knowledge, and the fascinating objects and artworks that bring the past to life. Growing up, weekends were often spent visiting exhibitions, and holidays meant searching out local museums and cultural sites.
In my exhibition work, I aim to share that same sense of wonder and reflection by transforming archeological discoveries into engaging stories and experiences that spark curiosity and connection — even for those who may not naturally feel at home in museums as I do.
I’ve been fortunate to work on exhibitions across a wide range of themes and audiences. Whether exploring the vanished landscapes of Doggerland, the transformative power of fire and long-distance connections in the Bronze Age, the layered history of the Netherlands in Labyrinthia, or the nostalgic journey of Ticket to the Past, my goal has always been to connect audiences with heritage in ways that feel both intellectually meaningful and emotionally resonant.
In exhibition-making, I strive to combine rigorous scholarship with strong narrative design, balancing scientific accuracy, aesthetic appeal, and accessibility. I especially enjoy collaborating with curators, designers, artists, and fellow researchers, all working toward a shared goal: making heritage meaningful, memorable, and accessible to diverse audiences.
In this section of my website, I share a selection of projects that reflect this approach and passion.
