As you can read in my CV, I have a PhD in archeology from Leiden University. I am specialized in the Later Prehistory of Northwest Europe and won the Joseph Déchelette European Archaeology Prize for my work on Early Iron Age elite burials. Welcome to this part of my website where I share a selection of the projects I have been working on.

I recently also took up a part-time position as assistant curator for Prehistory at the National Museum Antiquities in Leiden (for 18 months). While most of my time goes into my work at the museum, I also still work on commercial projects for various research institutions.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch via sasja@vandervaart-verschoof.com if you have a project you would like me to collaborate on.
